Comments:
My seven-year-old grandson, Wyatt joined me and made his first contest QSOs. He
caught on very quickly.
Had only limited time with many family interruptions so not much of an effort.
Horrible noise in our area and the Virginia Power Noise Crew is coming soon.
This was very tiring and conditions were spotty. Many stations had terribly
distorted audio. This is why I seldom enter SSB contests. 3-11-thousand-dollar
finely engineered transceivers sounding like a tin can. How idiotic and how
pervasive.
Lots of rude frequency incursions and outright attempts at frequency stealing
were experienced. SSB contesting is an embarrassment to our hobby.
