Comments:
It was in the plan to test out the FTDX10 in CWT,
but 14 MHz was the only band I could not get it to
drive the linear without parasites (unstable UHF-
transistor in the FTDX10 final stage. I hope this
is not a common problem with this model). Thus CWT
was run with the 35 years old IC-736.
Soon after the start of the 1300Z session, the Sun
pushed out a C1.2-flare peaking at 1330Z. I checked
21 MHz but there was only FT8-traffic above 21.074
Finally 7 Q's on 7 MHz, with signals weaker than
first anticipated. I had problems with my paddle
routines, and this time I had to rely on N1MM+ to
avoid working dupes. Too much driving yesterday?
