Comments:
With all the things observed during the 1900Z
session this report would get a bit too long.
Anyway, 14 MHz sounded weak, so I started S/P
on 7 MHz. Then had a good run followed by some
S/P up to 51 Q's. At about 1910Z geomagnetics
started to jitter with probably the forefront
of the arriving CME, but now at 2010Z still no
sign in the SWPC-forecast (70 min lead time).
A small C-flare had started at 1900Z keeping
the MUF up over the daylight area for the USA.
Went to 14 MHz for the last quarter and found
Nacho EA4OR again with a fair signal. Tried to
cut into the Dennis VP5M pileup, but condx
seemed too weak. Got tied up in a regular QSO
with PY4HO and a couple of weak CWT's and then
found VP5M again with a much better signal.
Very happy to get him in the last few seconds!
Cheers/73, Zaba OH1ZAA #1856 CWops
