Comments:
Set up my kx3 on the front deck and used a short jumper wire maybe 6' long over
to a 20' pipe that my wireless internet modem is on top of, for my antenna.
Had
a scraggly hank of wire for my counterpoise and it seemed to load ok on
15/20/40.
Nothing heard on 15m, but 20m signals were pretty fair and worked most on the
first or second call w/o too many issues. A few just could not hear me and that
was to be expected given the low power and weird antenna !
ND7K and K7RL especially armchair copy. W6OAT, N7A and NG7M took a few tries.
FB ears all you fellas !
CU (all of a sudden) in the next one.
