Comments:
MUCH BETTER CONDITIONS THAN LAST WEEKEND WITH FRIDAY NIGHT AND SATURDAY BEING
THE BEST. STARTED OUT THINKING WE ONLY HAD THREE OPERATORS BECAUSE OUR OTHER
OPS WERE OUT OF TOWN, TIED UP WITH WORK OR HAD HOME DUTIES TO TAKE CARE OF. WE
WERE VERY HAPPY TO FIND OUT ONE OP HAD NOT LEFT TOWN, ANOTHER OP SQUEEZED OUT
SOME TIME AWAY FROM HIS VERY BUSY WORK SCHEDULE AND A THIRD OP GOT HIS HOME
CHORES DONE SATURDAY SO HE COULD JOIN US ON SUNDAY. MOST OF FRIDAY NIGHT AND
SATURDAY TO MID AFTER NOON WAS JUST ONE OPERATOR WHO TOOK A FULL ADVANTAGE OF
THE 15 METER SATURDAY OPENING AND SPENT MOST OF THE TIME ON 15 EXCEPT WHEN
RELIEF CAME AND THEN WORKED A FEW 10 METER CONTACTS. FROM MID AFTERNOON
SATURDAY WE HAD ENOUGH OPS TO FILL BOTH CHAIRS IN THE RADIO ROOM THE REMAINDER
OF THE CONTEST WHEN THE BANDS WERE OPEN. SINCE OUR CREW WAS MADE UP OF
EXPERIENCED CONTESTERS OUR GOAL THIS TIME WAS TO JUST HAVE FUN AND HAND OUT AS
MANY MULTIPLIERS AS POSSIBLE FOR EVERYONE ELSE. THEREFORE WE GENERALLY HAD ONE
STATION RUNNING WHEN IT COULD AND THE OTHER STATION ON ANOTHER BAND DOING S
& P. WE HOPE WE HELPED SOME OF YOU WITH SOME NEW MULTS. EVERYONE HAD A
GREAT TIME. THE FOOD WAS ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT DUE TO THE EXPERT COOKING OF
SUSAN N3DPB. TNX TO ALL WHO CONTACTED US. 73 FROM THE CREW, N3DPB WA3EKL
