Anemic multiplier but it reflects the polar path propagation. On the positive
side I was able to work nearly every weak European I came across, I just
couldn't find many. Morning LP was mostly a bust, just a trickle of ZS stations
plus LZ5R. No signals were heard from north of the English channel or Baltic
Sea. 

Japan was in surprisingly well for a few hours the first night. Unfortunately
there was no repeat the second night as aurora largely shut things down. 771
qso's the first night, 220 the second. Lost count of the number of times I had
to take breaks waiting for S9 plus rain static to dissipate as passing bands of
rain/hail showers passed overhead. This went on from early Saturday evening
right up to the end of the contest.  

The new Indonesian hams are now very adept phone contest ops, just wish they
would call us using their full call signs instead of just two letters.
