Using a drone I was able to elevate my OCF dipole 5 m higher and I guess it made
a difference. I did very well on 80 and 40m compared to my previous years but on
20m I did not do well. The band was too busy and I could not find a spot where I
could call without any interference. Since I don't have a directional Yagi
antenna I was very limited. This is my best score so far on this BCQSO so I
guess the lower band were good this year. Every year is such a different
experience with the bands. We never know what will happen especially with a
small and antiquated radio station from the 1980. I enjoyed the contest. I will
be back next year. Thank you all for being there. Some of you have an infinite
patience and it is very much appreciated. 73
