Stayed up all night with one 30 minute break early on and this was the most QSOs
I have ever made in a Stew Perry contest as I recall. Sorry for asking for
repeats but my good friend Jay (W9TC) who lives 2 miles from my QTH was really
thumping the receiver in my 40 year old transceiver.
Worked a few Europeans but don't think conditions were great by any means.
Transceiver: Kenwood TS-180s (100 watts) with 500 Hz IF filter
TX Antenna: 68 foot base loaded vertical wire hanging straight down from a very
tall Sycamore tree with 55 short buried radials (2500 feet of radials)
RX Antennas: 3 small point fed pennants (pointing 40, 160, and 300 degrees).
Audio Filter: Hi-Per-Mite active audio filter (200 Hz bandwidth).
