Friday night was a nice treat with signals loud from coast to coast. Personally,
I didn't expect to break 50Q's but within the first 2.5 hours of operating I was
approaching 100. Had some good rates calling CQ.

Missed the action Saturday AM but was able to work a few Saturday afternoon. Was
on Sunday AM again where signals were good and managed to work 3 countries
(Carib/SA).
In the last 30 minutes of the contest, there were no signals to be seen, but
then all of a sudden you'd get a meteor burn and signals would pop up out of the
noise. I managed to snag 3 more CW q's on these burns.
Guess this is a taste of the upcoming solar cycle. Last year I had 26 CW qso's,
so my expectations were kinda tempered.
Flex 6600 + Expert 1K-FA. "Dipole" at 15ft. Many SMC'ers and Fox River
Radio League folks worked. Thanks for the Q's.
