Got comments about being an alligator on Friday night while I was increasing the
number of radials under my vertical from 14 to 22 (very scientific). Commenter
said I was real loud. So I immediately quit working on the transmitting antenna
and expedited the temporary installation of receive antennas. I used them on
Saturday night. They show great promise.
Unprecedented JAs Sunday morning. 10 JAs answered my CQs. Not bad for a simple
station in Oklahoma.
Looking forward to seeing how it all shakes out, and what happens after the fat
lady sings.
