Comments:
Another great one! Thanks to the double digit A index, 80/160 not all that
great. High bands excellent if a little shy on the polar paths, didn't work an
SM in the first 12hrs. I was a shocked at just how good 15m was Sunday morning,
best sustained rate I've ever had. I was convinced that I missed a bunch of
stuff on 10 then, turns out not all that much.
My mult/2nd antenna (th7 at 50ft) is generally parked SE. Tried to turn it to
Eu Sat am and it wouldn't budge so it was "fixed" all weekend. Sat.
afternoon tried to tune the LK500 on 10 - no output. It's dead on 10/15 but
works on the other bands so not a total loss but put a crimp in 2nd radio
activity Sunday - not that I'm that good at it.
Mults were way down, I finally quit worrying about it and tried to get what I
could. Maybe next year the world will be more "normal".
Realizing my score is massively impacted by RBN users around the world and my
competitive position has been given a major boost by the exodus to assisted, I
still think there's a place for the unassisted category. It just seems natural
and is a whale of a lot of fun.
