That was tons of fun!!! Thanks to the mobile/portables who really made things
interesting. Never heard a peep on 15 or 10 and 80 just doesn't make it to KS
with an indoor antenna in the summer months. 40 was the money band. Signals
not very good most of the time but good enough. Here's how many timesI worked
these guys: W0B - 30, K0A & K0I -20, N0W - 19, N0Q - 16, N0K - 12, N0E - 5,
and N4CD - 4. First time for this event for me since it usually falls the same
weekend as the Ohio QSO Party. Watch for the QSL's. Hint - I worked a bunch of
new counties. Thanks - 73 tom Rig = TenTec Eagle @ 100 Watts Antenna =
Mag Loop (40 thru 15) and an Isotron-80 in attic 12' above garage floor and an
indoor 10 meter dipole.
