My California son and his family came to visit on short notice and did not leave
until Sunday morning. Operated for a VERY short while, mostly on CW.
I was surprised a the rate Sunday. Pileups were huge. However, being in the
middle of country presents a problem when trying to work off the back of the
beam
Conditions seemed to be good Sunday, but Saturday was horribly noisy with QRN
from storms. I was surprised at the number of Wetern Europeans calling in.
All in all it was great fun again this year even though it was only for a short
time.
Thanks to all who hung in there as I tried to sort out callsigns. Thanks to all
all who provided a QSO.
Maybe next year I will have more time for the KSQP.
A big shout out to Bob, W0BH, who works so diligently to make this QSO Party
happen. I am not sure he even sleeps after March. In addition he is one of the
best contesters around. Great job again, Bob.
