All search and pounce just long enough to get 100 QSOs in the log for my club
(SMC). Lots of QRN on 80 meters from lightning, and therefore did not even
operate 160 meters which is my favorite band. CW never gets old.
Transceiver: Kenwood TS-180s (100 watts) with 500 Hz IF filter.
TX Antenna (80 meters): 68 foot base loaded vertical with 55 short buried
radials (2500 feet of radials).
TX Antenna (40 meters): attic dipole fed with ladder line.
RX Antennas: 3 small point fed pennants (pointing 40, 160, and 300 degrees).
Audio Filter: Hi-Per-Mite active audio filter (200 Hz bandwidth).
