Comments:
100 watts and a dipole 10 feet off the ground doesn't cut it! Honestly, there
were so many pings and short bursts from FT-8 stations that didn't decode I
think I would have had a shot at a better score had I been running CW. On at
least two occasions the bursts were of sufficient duration, in consecutive
listening periods, that a CW QSO would have been possible. As it was the QSB on
all signals was intense. Even VE4VT's signal went from -14 to +6 and back to -14
during our QSO! I heard no signal that lasted more than 3 receive cycles and
most lasted one or less. Thanks to VE4VT, W9VW and K0VG for my Qs.
