Portable from Mt Islip @ 8250' ASL, SOTA W6/CT-010. KX3 to 59' end fed wire up
30' with 30' counterpoise.
At 01Z the wind picked up and the temperature plummeted.
By sunset at 0215 it was wise to leave. A shame as I seemed to be loud on 40;
W1WEF came right back to me.
Temps spanned low 90s in Pasadena to low 50s and strong wind on the mountain.
Great fun to make a few Qs in the Sprint!
