Comments:
Well that was really dicey. We had storms in the area this afternoon, and I
wasn't certain I would even get on the air. With one eye on the lightning
display app on the phone, an ear listening through numerous static crashes I
managed to make a few contacts this afternoon. When lightning strikes were
reported at 2 mi., or I could hear thunder through the phones, I shut down. Only
the antenna for the band in use at the time was connected.
My sincere apologies to any that I inadvertently stepped on this afternoon.
Hearing was a challenge; and there was virtually no chance of me picking out
weak sigs this afternoon.
73 es TU for the Qs!
