Comments:
Last year I only got in for a tiny bit just to hand out some Q's on cw. GA is
just not the optimum distance from here. Some Q's were a little rough. 20 mtrs
was cooked from 4pm on, no Q's from that time on. It was nice not waiting too
long for a mobile to get into another county although once or twice I lost a new
one when I couldn't work them before they crossed into another county.
Thanks to the great devotion of the rovers. The top 3 with the most Qso's were
N4N - 70 Q's, W4AN - 32 Q's, and KN4Y - 16 Q's. Both days I was trying to watch
a lot of the Masters Tournament. I could tell when the storms hit as there was
a lull in the mobile action for a short time on Sunday. One of the mobiles even
mentioned the word "storms" on cw. I hope they all got home safely.
Thanks for a great Qso party. I can see me doing a similar effort next year.
