Comments:
Operated portable with an FT-857 at 5W powered by batteries. Amazing day to
spend in the fields other than operating radio. Propagation was not exactly the
best. Only heard 2 US stations, NN2DX and K1LZ. Heard signals at S9++ that
couldn't hear me and signals at S2 that could copy me on the very first try.
Some great ears out there.
Paper logging...dupe checking is quite a challenge :)
