Okay, that was awful.
I remember when I started contesting, there was that great rush of excitement at
sunrise, when Europe would explode first on 20, 15 and then on 10. On Saturday
morning, I couldn't even hear Europe on 20 from the East Coast. There was about
one hour of decent propagation for me on Sunday, and that was it.
I must have had some good one way spotlight propagation to Europe on Saturday
night on 160 meters, because I heard a number of very loud stations deep into
Zone 15 - I heard no one else calling them, and they weren't hearing me. Oh
well.
Here's two figures that explain the weekend: I only had 2 QSO's with DL. I had
19 with PY.
