Station : FTdx5000, DX-LB Trap Dipole in an "L" configuration. N1MM+
SO1P operation again (Single Op 1 Pup). My role in this contest
was to operate as a cheerleader. It is a favorite of mine but I really don't
have the antenna/location to do it justice. Spotted everything I heard.
Multiple times. Probably should have read the rules before the contest
and would have realized if I was assisted only high power is available.
Actually, I sort of knew that anyways and it really wouldn't have made a
difference as I can only run 200W max. One 1/2 hour run with the pup in
my lap good for 46Qs in 30 minutes.
Did manage to reach across the pond with my cheesy antenna, a few zone 8.
My goal was to not torture the station I was calling. Worked pretty much every
station in NY, PA and MD. Had fun. Mission accomplished.
73,
Ken - WO1N
