Comments:
One of my best scores ever, yet it pales in comparison to that of N2IC. Steve
AVERAGED just two QSO's less per hour (192) than my best 30 minute rate (194).
Holy heck! I am totally in awe. I figured he would be close to 400K, but almost
500K points...Unreal! The bar is now set so high I can't imagine anyone else
ever beating Steve in an NAQP.
Thanks to those who moved to another band when asked. Moves were mostly
successful. My mult count on 15 meters should be better, but I couldn't stay
away from the great rates on 20 at the beginning.
I used interleaved QSO's (2BSIQ) for about three hours of the contest. In order
for 2BSIQ to work, you need reasonable pileups on both bands. Ain't gonna happen
that often from a common section like Colorado. Most of the time, I found it
more productive to CQ on one band while looking for mults on other bands.
