Comments:
I thought, hey this will be the 1st time for me to try this sprint thing.
So I got on to see if I could hear anyone.
Since I'm pretty sure I'm the only 222 SSB station in the state of Iowa,
I didn't expect much.
I got on shortly after 7PM. The noise was terrible from the storm that had
passed a few hours earlier, and with lower than normal band conditions, I
figured I would be lucky to work anyone. A few stations from Illinois were
heard and the exchange went fine. But that was about it. Last one in the log was
none other than K9JK/R. So it was better than expected. I would of liked more
contacts, but with the poor band conditions, I was lucky to hear anyone. Will
try this sprint thing again on 432 next week.
