Comments:
We operated low power from a shed on a remote hilltop wooded site west of
Lehighton. The rain turned the private access road into a challenge for AWD and
impossible for 2 wheel drive vehicles. The operators were: K3SW, K3PP, K3TEJ,
NY3B, and K3CT.
Thanks to K3PH, W3MF for visiting and helping with the setup on Saturday
morning.
Antennas: Cushcraft trap tubing dipole 20m/15m/10m, 80m ladder line dipole, 40m
cloud warmer, and 40m vertical. A pneumatic tennis ball launcher was used to
place the antennas in the 65 – 70 ft trees.
Radios: Two IC-7300
We started late, operated 19 hours, and logged 1387 Q’s.
Missed the US sections: ND, PAC, SF, and AK.
