Thanks for the QSOs.
Only antenna usable in a somewhat East/West direction is the 80 m inv. vee. The
mast, holding the 40 and 20 m antennas, was rotated in the rotor-mast clamp by
the recent high winds. These antennas now point South. Although the rotor
still works, not sure if the rotor loop coax is loose enough to use the rotor.
Slow the first hour although that was okay as there were a number of good
basketball games on the shack TV. Usually operate SO2R, which is a bit more
operator intensive than the sprint QSY rule. Even after folks started showing
up on 80 meters, the TV was kept on throughout the Sprint. (Go Virginia!)
