Comments:
Seemed like wonderful conditions this year. Low noise, decent propagation, and
stations well spread out. I don't know why I chose to enter as a QRP entrant.
It seems perversely against all good judgement, but I was pleasantly surprised
by the results. I am not breaking any records than my own, but I am convinced
that QRP on 160M is possible, given a decent antenna. Some operators really
strained to hear me, and the amount of time some stuck to pulling me out is
testimony to the friendliness of Top-Band ops. I'm not sure I would have gained
the same consideration on other bands. Thanks for the QSO's and a fun contest.
