Comments:
Great propagation, relatively low noise level @ Cedar Springs, Staging Area for
the Fred Meijer White Pine Trail Linar State Park. Was busy from 1850Z to
2000Z, first with a few folks who wanted a contact only for Parks on the air,
and then for the during the CWT.
Almost everyone who I could hear could hear my measly 5 watts to a marginal
antenna. Noise level was S3 to S5 - there was a BIG burst of S9+ RFI which was
at first troubling, but it went away about 1840Z and never reappeared.
Firsst part all "Running" but after about 1825 more signals started
coming to 40, so I switched to S&P. Thanks to all who worked me.
