Comments:
A slog for sure. Terrible conditions, interrupted by a horrific electrical storm
on Sunday afternoon in the middle of a good opening to east coast and just as
JA's were appearing on JT-65.. Had to shut down for almost 2 hours and remove
antenna leads from shack.
DX maps suggested N Cal was one of the least productive areas this year.
Only 3 QSO's using JT-65.
Pleased to be W6JTI's first QSO for his expedition to to rare grid square CM79
with K9YC and K6EU. Essentially line of sight from here at a distance of 94
miles, so Frank was usually almost S-9.
