Comments:
Portable operation from Cedar Island in North Carolina while island hopping with
KM4DAY's amphibia. 4 fiberglass poles (German branded, of course) and a lot of
wire. Only intended to do 40, 20 and 15 but by the time we had the antennas
up on Saturday morning, 15 was already closed to DL. Took some more time off to
add a second vertical for 40 and an inverted L for 80. Ran out of wire for the
inverted L radials and had to put a shortening coil in on a Hoegaarden bottle.
That Dutch bottle ate some dBs but at the end the German fiberglass prevailed!
