222 MHz Fall Sprint

Call: W7FU
Operator(s): W7FU
Station: W7FU

Class: Single Op LP
QTH: Redmond, WA
Operating Time (hrs): 1/2

Summary:
Total: QSOs = 10 Mults = 4 Tot Dist(km) = 0 Total Score = 40

Club: Pacific Northwest VHF Society

Comments:

My very first sprint. Had a lot of fun preparing, operating, and repairing
afterwards. Am quite excited at having been able to work 4 grids, with the
longest distance of 112 miles. These QSO's are despite my QTH, a cave like
river valley, and low antenna height. Helped by superior stations at the other
end, I am sure. Using a completely homebrew VHF station: cheap yagi, 30 watts.
Thanks for listening for me. Plan to participate on upcoming sprints. Regards,
John, W7FU
