Comments:
This was the inaugural contest for my new SteppIR DB-18 at 67 feet.
Band condx seemed very weak at first but became stronger later in the day. For
a while it seemed like we would never work EU at all, then about 0300Z there
was a glorious opening to Eastern Europe for several hours that extended down
to the middle east. Never did work much Western EU though.
The high point was RI1FJ calling in while I was running 20 meters.
It added up to a lot of fun and a good excuse for a potluck that included quite
a few non-contester ham friends.
73 and thanks for the Q's,
Carl WS7L
K-Line, DB-18, HF-2V for 80 m.
