Comments:
The initial plan was to participate in SB(A)40m HP to test new setup. On Friday
after some test QSOs on 40m the antenna stopped to work: the problem of the
feeder. It was necessary to spend some time on the tower on Friday and Saturday
to replace the feeder.
Instead of 40m I decided to participate in the SB(A)20m HP. At first it was to
be "just for fun" start as 20m is not optimal at the moment: the
station is changing and the bottom antenna of the 2x6el 20m array does not work
now. I also had no RX antennas beaming South (which I usually use when I am
Single Band on 20m). So finally I was using only a single antenna: the top 6el
Yagi (about 38m high). The break hours were not optimal as on Saturday we just
had work to do to repair the 40m beam (it was my duty in big part as I am a
tower man here) and antenna/tower work determined break hours. I was also
physically tired after all that work on the tower so after all I am just more
than happy of the final result.
Great thanks to Mirek SP4MPG (the station host) for the possibility to be a
memeber of the SO4M Team and great chance to operate SO4M station.
