Comments:
Conditions seemed up and down in this contest. All search and pounce.
I started out Friday night on 80-M, but noise from area thunderstorms caused me
to cut my operating short. Saturday morning I began on 20-M with mostly U.S.
stations. Switched to 15-M at 1400 UTC and began working South America and the
Caribbean. Back to 20-M at around 1600 UTC, but still mostly U.S. stations.
15-M was good into the Pacific Saturday afternoon. Worked a few Europeans on
20-M around 0130 UTC. Spent most of my time Sunday afternoon on 15-M. I had
only one 10-M QSO (with KN4Y)in the last 30 minutes of the contest - and never
heard another station on that band.
I am pleased with my 5-watt QRP entry! Thanks to all who gave their best to
hear my puny signal.
