Thanks Pedro NP4A and his wife Ines for the invitation to their home to work
CQWW. Other excellent weekend.
The setup was: the main antenna is a 4 elements curtain lazy h the uppper set
of dipoles are 160 feet above ground and the bottom set are 100 feet above
ground this antenna is bidirectional, europe and vk/zl. the second antenna is
a 2 elements collinear array looking at north america and japan over the short
pass. At 180 feet above ground. radio is a modified ft-1000 mark v driving a
home made 4-1000a amplifier. For receive we use three 1000 foot beverage
antennas. This station is located on the top of a 3000 foot mountain over
looking the caribbean sea and the atlantic ocean.
