Comments:
Expected to be QRV for last 4:15 Saturday night. Friday noon first grandchild
(a girl) was born. Everybody is doing well, thank you. Visited Friday
afternoon then invited again Saturday night: "Bring pizza" (for the
Mom and Dad, not for the baby). You bet!! I'll still be able to make at least
one QSO to get PVRC the operator credit.
Well, a little more than one QSO. Hit 20M to get the quick mult's; play with
160M because it's interesting; beat my head in on 40M and 80M. Only thing
interesting was the Alaskan who responded to 40M CQ.
I do not use SCP or any kind of data base, but the participants are getting so
familiar that I can type the report before they send it. And, as I've
mentioned before, the logging s/w auto-fill makes next-band QSOs too easy.
And never mind the score -- I won because I had way more fun that you did.
Baby pic's available on request. :>)
