Comments:
Conditions didn't seem very good -- nothing beyond NM (thanks to Milt N5IA for
my longest-haul 8-point contact). Even W6 seemed a long way off.
Horizontal top of the 135-foot inverted-L is loose at the far end, so from the
top of the vertical 70' wire, it goes out 20 feet at almost horizontal, then
down to the far end at a 45-degree angle. Will have that corrected once winter
lets go.
Had a heavy snowfall over Saturday night. It was serenely pleasant watching the
snow fall in the pine forest outside (despite CQing with no takers) during the
wee hours when I was on.
Happy New Year all. See a few in SARTG NY RTTY, and I hope many more in RTTY
Roundup.
