Comments:
This was my second time out using N1MM+. The only problems I had was the WIPe
and LOG buttons being too close to each other and hitting WIPe when I meant to
LOG. Maybe it an age problem or hand - eye coordination, but I'd like to see
the buttons farther apart or rearranged to avoid loosing exchange data.
Station Data: OMNI-VII w/ Flex-1500 sub/RX and Panadapter. TT-715 providing 15
dB of RF clipping to Heil HM-6 mic audio for a 6 dB improvement in AVERAGE TX
power out. (the RF clipper is really needed if you run LOW power in SS-SSB)
Antennas included TH-7DXX at 50 feet, top loaded HF-2V, and K9AY Loop System.
I like SSB-SS as a testing and practice platform for DX phone pile-ups. Getting
the TX audio set for minimal calls and repeats is the goal. I receive a dozen or
more positive comments on my audio and a few questioned my A - low power
reported class and High Power sound.
