Comments:
13.5 hours on. Missed a couple of peak openings but caught some good ones, too.
Score not competitive due to the fragmented time in the chair, but it was very
enjoyable working 15M day and night over the pole -- a slow but steady stream
of callers.
Had the 3-element Steppir at 27 feet -- so low I had to climb a ladder Saturday
afternoon to prune tree branches that were interfering with the yagi when the
tower's not cranked up. It works pretty well for such a minimal arrangement.
Nice surprises to work a pair of ZS stations around 11 p.m. (0600z) on 15M.
Europeans were crystal clear and strong into the wee hours Sunday morning on
15M while 20M sounded much rougher throughout the contest.
