Comments:
Had to stay at home, on standby for work, so I had fun from home with a bit of
babysitting of neighbors kids providing a few extra bonus points. Also had a
little help from someone who shares my amusement over making sure that every
band/mode combination (or at least those I have gear for) has at least one
contact.
This would have been a great weekend to be with the club -- beautiful weather,
and poor propagation providing plenty of excuse to socialize and not worry
about rate.
Never saw more than brief teases 10 opening, and heard a few locals who were
waiting to see if the 6 meter fairy would bring any gifts this Field Day. 15
and 20 weren't very strong, with lots of QSB -- guess the salad days for this
solar cycle are over. 40 and 80 were fairly decent here, but had a number of
"SRI QRN" requests come back my way.
Missed AK, ID, NE, NL, NT, and ONN. I faintly heard AK, but never caught a
whiff of the others.
