Comments:
Saturday 6 meters was hopping most of the day but Sunday the band never really
got going and died early, which sounds like a typical June VHF contest. On the
bright side I worked a number of new grids on 6 meters including the last one I
needed in the CN grid field - CN70. There are some sharp operators out there
who know that time is of the essence on 6 meters.
Thanks to all of the locals who moved to a new band and gave me a contact or
tried to. 2 meter and 70 cm conditions were worse than normal in Arizona and
the activity level suffered as a result. However, it all balanced out and my
score is a greater than last year's.
Thanks for the contacts and your patience.
