Comments:
The solar flux dropped for this WPX CW and the A index was to high for a record
breaking score. 160 and 80 were extremely poor the first night and not a lot
better the second night. High bands were not good the first day but 20 had a
nice opening to JA that lasted through most of the contest. We were able to
run EU on 15 the second morning, adding needed prefixes. 40 was about the same
as last year, so-so, and no EU. 10 didn't produce much like last year. The
station was good except for some new 40 to 15 interference and the RX of the
160 station quit near the end of the second night. We had our athena program
running compairing our score to our 2012 score on one computer. That probably
gave our opoerating performance little push.
We did break station 2012 record score by a snall amount. The credit goes to
better operating performance. The team did a great job.
We have a good team for the AA contest comming up in June. Don't see last
years AA contest results on the JARL web site and nothing about the 2014 AA
test yet??
Our thanks go to all that called us.
73, Duane VE7UF
