Comments:
I had privilege to operate K1RX station while Mark traveled to D4 land to
hopefully break some records with the best of the best. I am not a skillful CW
operator, so for me this was great opportunity to have fun with some serious
power and steel/aluminium farm (speller say "aluminium" is
not a
word, imagine).
All S&P, I just could not give up fun of breaking pileups all day long,
just amazing. First evening the 40m was rocking, it took me at least an hour to
work all the DX stations in the first 30kHz of the band. 10m was not as stellar
like in phone weekend, but still very solid, I had pretty much even spread
between 40m-20m-15m-10m bands. I could never run out of stations to work. I had
13 or 14 6- band sets. Most of the Sunday I was just multipliers hunting, tried
to have 4 bands with 100 or more entities, but not quite managed on 40m. I had
at least 1 contact in all 40 zones, what a blast. It was very windy Sunday and
we lost power for few seconds, but looks like everything survived.
