Comments:
My punishment for not doing antenna work earlier was to do it during the
contest. I had lost my 75' tower when a tree fell across a guy during a small
tornado. The antennas fell into a tree with only a few elements damaged. I
built a temporary 45' tower through the tree and got the antennas down and the
tower down. This weekend I got the temporary tower down and started on the
replacement tower. As of Sunday night I have the guy points repaired and 28'
of tower up. I hope to have at least 48' up tomorrow and the first guys at 45'
done. This tower will have a 9el 6m on 50' boom at 87' and a 6el 10 at 77' plus
phased stack on SA and sw 4el on XE/ZL.
