Comments:
Suffering from my yearly bout of sinus congestion and a head cold. The cold damp
NJ weather did not help either. I wasn't sure I would make it this year. I
started over 3 hours late, never got to 80m....crashed early. Like most, never
heard Del Norte county. Two pet peeves.....a definite lack of cw. ( doesn't
anyone operate this mode?) and many new hams are adopting the Italian
model...they just give their suffixes !!! Obviously it slows down the rate. I
made this comment to one caller. He told me that he didn't know, but thanked me
for the tip. Perhaps we could make a concerted effort to correct this practice.
Not a great effort, but many thanks to all who called. Now for the NY-Quil and
bed.
