Comments:
This was my first attempt at the IARU from the W6YI superstation. Dan, N6MJ has
done it from here several times, so I had some big shoes to fill. This time he
went to NK7U so I could have a shot at some more WRTC points.
Conditions were just OK with the flair happening, but there was no big 20 M
opening to EU and 10 was just for mult snatching in SA. Had some nice runs to
Asia and the Pacific on the low bands after about 2 AM. Just barely worked the
loudest HQ stations in EU on 40 before it just shut down a bit after sunset.
Thanks to all the AC and R guys who moved for me. And congrats to the great
job by the IARU and ARRL HQ stations. You guys were loud everywhere except
10.
Finally, thanks as always to Jim, W6YI for the use of the Superstation and some
mighty good eats.
