Score includes 250 bonus points.
Man, do I feel stupid! I knew condx weren't very good based on the solar
numbers and my ears, but I slogged away for a while. Storm came through here
about 9pm with lots of wind. I never looked at the antenna again until after
the contest...when I discovered the feedpoint was about 3 feet off the
ground....D'oh! That explains a lot of my fruitless CQing and almost total
inability to work anyone on SSB...all of which affected my BIC quotient.
FT817ND at 5 watts to 80m doublet...up 3'...hey, it was only up about 25' to
begin with...
