Comments:
Condx at this station weren't that great. 10 and 15 were virtually non existant.
I guess low wire only antennas contribute to less than ideal condx!
Some decent rates when changing bands, (not quite like PJ4Z in WPX mind you!)
but Sunday felt just like Sweepestakes especially on SSB.
Worked many Georgia stations so hopefully the showing to those outside of
Georgia allowed for some decent q & mult totals. Towards the end I noticed N4ZZ
getting louder and louder and when he reached the county adjoining Cobb
(Paulding) he was rocking the S meter and I had to make the call. Nice job this
weekend Don.
It was really great to be able to use the new call - N4OO - for the 1st time in
a contest and was very pleased to hear from many of you already aware of the
switch from NA4BW. Thanks for the comments on the call.
I worked K4SSU and talk about weird -- typing that callsign in v. giving it out
was eerie to say the least - it took a minute for Dave to realize who was
calling him. It was a comical exchange to say the least!
73's from Cobb County Ga. - Brian - N4OO
