Comments:
Tripled the number of Q's from my first RTTY contest, the NAQP July 2011 so I am
pleased with the trend. I still was a big chicken at the opening bell though and
did not start CQ'ng for a while. I will not make that mistake again!
10 was open early but it seemed like 15 was the hot band so I moved there
early.
I had a very difficult time finding space to work on 20 and I struggled with
getting results while using the "NET" and "AFC" as instructed.
I REALLY need to do something about my 80 meter antenna situation!
The NAQP RTTY contest sure makes a Ham have to get their equipment all
synchronized. It is a great shack tune up time.
I had the pleasure of working Don, AA5AU a couple of times. His online guides
are a great help to me.
73!
