Comments:
15 and 40 were sure the money bands again. We kept an eye on 10, with earlier
prop. predictions that the flux could be in the 150s, this could have meant
some wild and wacky conditions on 10. Instead, 10 was sporadic and we never
could develope any good runs, only some mult. picking. Some problems with the
computers, (RFI?) meant some message exchanges got prematurely dropped, so
apologies for some unnecessarily long and disjointed exchanges. Seems to be
more participation from Japan, which is always welcome, especially on those
early AM shifts on 40 before 20 opens. This was our best ever score but still
room for improvement. Seemed like a lot of fills and repeats. Conditions, QRM
and sending only the serial numbers once or twice with the exchangee meant a
lot of "AGAINS". Not nearly as many dupes as past contests and buffers are sure
tightening. Fun contest and good participation.
