Comments:
This weekend I took down a 17m J-pole that I'd been playing with and put up the
51' T again for 160. I think a few radials got cut during yard work over the
summer, between now and the "real" 160 season will try to get those replaced
and more added.
Got on shortly after local sunset at the start and worked a booming DL5AXX and
thought conditions would be great, but DL6FBL couldn't hear me at all and I
heard no other EU and worked mostly 1 and 2 points. Noisy and seemed like high
absorption.
Then got on in the middle of the night, just before EU sunrise, called CQ and
G4AMT came back and I thought I might have a great run, but after that no EU
and at best a few 5 pointers.
Sunday am I got on and worked T32C for a 19 pointer but never even heard a W6
and only one W7.
